Step 01 - Collecting the raw material

The main ingredient used in making 100% natural latex mattresses is obtained from the rubber tree sap. Latex is the name given to the milky white liquid produced by the rubber tree. The process of latex harvesting begins with carefully stripping the bark of the rubber tree, about 0.84cm deep. A cup or container is placed near the incision to collect the latex oozing from the tree.

Step 02 - Liquid latex processing

Once the latex is harvested, it needs to be transported in airtight buckets to the processing facility within the shortest time possible. After it arrives in the processing factory, liquid latex is poured into a large cylindrical tank using a sieve to remove coagulated lumps and unwanted particles. This particular step ensures that the mattresses that are produced become spongy.

Step 03 - Molding of the latex foam

The foamed latex is finally transformed into a solid mattress in this stage. the foamed latex is poured into a mold and baked in a vulcanization oven. After the vulcanization process is complete, the baked latex can be separated from the mold and washed thoroughly. After washing, the material is baked again to remove moisture. At this point, the frozen mold is baked to set.

Step 04 - Quality inspection of the latex foam layers

Each latex layer extracted from the mold has to undergo a careful inspection process to ensure its quality. In the first stage of the inspection, trained inspectors or experts scrutinize each natural latex foam for any visible deformity. The second stage of the latex mattress quality inspection is carried out using computerized hardware and mechanized tools.
